Fountain Head Drive, Annandale

This is actually a very cute neighborhood- It is set back off of Ravensworth, in a self-contained loop of streets, with its own pool/small community center

(Sorry this picture is blown out- the building trim is brown not purple!)
through the community building to the pool

The one with the red door

Panoramic shot of your unit (center-red door) and adjacent building with open lawn separating houses from parking
Since the street is set back from the main road, and your particular building is off of the street- it's pretty quiet

Back of unit (yours is on the left, down closer to the woods)
small woods separates your neighborhood from the next

The whole complex seems well established and maintained.
I stopped by a little after 9a, so very few cars in the lot- but a good mix from Honda's to Lexus SUV's.  There were a couple houses throughout the neighborhood that seemed to be lower end (randomly hung curtains, or junky patio furniture)- but the majority looked very well maintained, fresh and friendly.

Good to note: this neighborhood is very secluded- it does not flow into other areas.  Across Ravensworth the townhouses are a little less desirable, but the homes on this street are all of a unanimous nice calibre.

Uxbridge Court, Springfield

(*I passed this one coming home so I thought I'd throw it up for you to see)

This is a cute, secluded townhouse neighborhood in the very back of Kings Park- It is on the park (Lake Accotink) side of Danbury Forrest and seems to be both well maintained and quiet.

Across from the unit and the end of the street (viewable from the house) is a nice park and the start of a walking trail)

This is the street coming in- so many people out walking with their dogs/kids (walking trail and playground are strait ahead at the bottom of the hill; the house is to the left half a block) This picture is taken from in front of the elementary school.  Driveway on the right is a community pool.

The school- from here house is down the hill to the right, on the other side of the school (to the left) is a main entrance to Lake Accotink Park hiking/biking trails

Pebble Weigh Ct, Burke

This is a really cute street- It seems to be a random "cottage concept" set back off of Burke Rd, unlike any neighboring streets.  All of the houses are in the cottage style and are set close together, with yards separated by white lattice archways.  The cottages are starting to show their age(s) but the neighborhood has a great location (two blocks-walkable to VRE station and is about two miles from Accotink Academy) and seems nicely detached from the main street.  While the VRE does run behind the neighborhood, it is buffered by elevation and woods- a neighbor assured me that you don't hear train noise from the house.

The unit is tucked back into a corner but is located at the top of the street on a very large roundabout culde sac
This is the house from the cul de sac

Picture of the cul de sac/round-about from the house

View to the left of the house

View (of neighbor fixing his car) straight ahead of the house

Diagonal across the cul de sac is a fenced in playground
This is a view from the playground back toward the house - gives you a sense of how big the   round about is and also how the house tucks back a bit (yours is the brick one in the middle)

headed down the street-toward the main road (Burke Rd)
